The only son of parents who were avid travelers themselves, Eric has been traveling and cruising his whole life. As the son of a father who also owns a vacation rental business, hospitality and customer service are the first and foremost industries he has most experience in. 

Eric graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in history in 2013. While there he also spent half a summer studying in Spain. An avid history buff since elementary school, he finds the greatest benefits of traveling are visiting historical places and becoming immersed in foreign cultures. 

As an Elite Captain's Club member on Celebrity Cruises, Eric can provide expert advice on cruising. Though still relatively young, he's also traveled to five out of the six inhabited continents. 

Apart from Europe, he's made three trips to South America, and most recently spent a month in Australia and New Zealand at the start of 2025.
